Live‑In Household Manager / Family Assistant

 Katonah, NY (60 miles north of NYC) 

A family of four (1 adult, 3 children) in a quiet, wooded setting near Katonah, NY is seeking a reliable, capable live‑in household manager to support daily household operations and after‑/before‑school routines. This is a direct‑hire role (no third‑party staffing agencies).

Kids are 15, 12 and 8, self sufficient, respectful and kind. Household is busy but comfortable and fun.

 Up to 40 hours per week  

• Afterschool: Mon–Fri, 3:00–6:00 PM (15 hrs) 
• Before school: Mon–Fri, 7:00–9:00 AM (10 hrs) 
• Miscellaneous household support: (15 hrs) 

• Oversee daily household organization and upkeep
  (professional cleaners handle deep cleaning) 
• Laundry management and light tidying/organizing 
• Support and guide children in completing personal tasks and household chores 
• Coordinate household vendors as needed 
• Assist with care and exercise for two dogs 
• Grocery shopping and basic meal prep 
• Drive children to and from three local schools and activities 

• Valid driver’s license required 
• Must have own car due to limited public transportation 
• Children are transported using the family vehicle 
• Comfortable driving dark, winding country roads and in inclement weather 

 Private lower‑level furnished apartment with:  

• Separate entrance 
• Private bathroom 
• Kitchenette 
• In‑unit laundry 
• Utilities and trash collection included 
• Home is located in a wooded, nature‑adjacent setting next to a preserve
